CryoTemp Gel Packs

After extensive in-house testing* of frozen shipments, Pelton Shepherd designed CryoTemp, a family of reliable gel packs for the shipment of frozen items and the best alternative to dry ice.

CryoTemp Gel Packs have been designed to maintain a temperature below 25F during their thawing phase. They can be frozen** and handled like traditional packs.

Unlike dry ice, CryoTemp gel packs do not sublimate, are not hazardous nor subject to shipping fees and seasonal price fluctuations.

(*)Prepared or raw meat, prepared or raw vegetables, prepared meals and most deserts thaw from frozen around 28F, a higher temperature than Cryo Temp product eutectic setting.

(**) We recommend that CryoTemp gel packs be conditioned at temperatures close to 0 to 5F like traditional gel packs.
